How It Works


 


Disc Rental Process A - At the Kiosk
  • Customer or his/her eligible representative (aged 18 years or more) can walk up to the kiosk and choose his/her choice of movies and/or games..
  • Once the selection is finalized, the customer swipes the membership card for authorization
  • On positive authorization of the membership, customer's account is deducted for the Initial Rental Period (IRP) amount and the disc is dispensed out.
  • Customer has to return the rented disc by 8:00 PM next day or else auto renewal as per the disc rental charges.

Disc Rental Process B – Via Online
  • A Customer can login to their online account and choose their choice of movies and/or games in their choice of kiosk.
  • Once the selection is finalized, the Discs are reserved under the customer membership account.
  • The Customer's account is deducted for the Initial Rental Period (IRP) amount and the disc(s) is held for customer pick up for the duration of the IRP.
  • The Customer or his/her eligible representative can walk up to the kiosk anytime before the IRP to pick the disc using the membership card.
  • Upon positive verification of the membership account, the disc is dispensed out.
  • Users also have the option to add movies or games to a “Wish list” for any unavailable Discs or upcoming releases. Once these Discs are available, an email notification will be sent for them to reserve and pick up at the kiosk.
  • Customer has to return the rented disc by 8:00 PM next day or else auto renewal as per the disc rental charges.

Disc Return Process – At the Kiosk
  • All rented Discs MUST be returned to ANY kiosk in the Ebox network. This is the ONLY Way to return the Discs to the Kiosks.
  • A Customer or his/her eligible representative must return the disc to the kiosk. Once the disc is inserted into the kiosk, it is checked for validity and damages by the robotics inside the kiosk.
  • Upon positive verification of the right disc, it is accepted. Otherwise, it is rejected and ejected out with an error message on the touch screen. The customer can try again but he/she should double check the warning after couple of tries. They can contact customer service for any further issues.
  • Customer has to return the rented disc by 8:00 PM next day or else auto renewal as per the disc rental charges.
